About the Programme

Research shows one in 65 people in Ireland is autistic with 85% of that number either unemployed or underemployed.

In this course we describe on what it means to be neurodivergent and explain common neurodiverse terms.

We examine the challenges neurodiverse people face in gaining employment and what employers can do to ensure inclusive recruitment.

Neurodivergent employees are protected under the employment equality act; we will examine legislation and case studies to demonstrate this.
